Hole in the wall

The hole in the wall couloir is, if you’re into couloirs, a must do in K-Country. It’s a steep and narrow couloir with a hole in the side to ride through. Definitely makes for a great photo op.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION

Park at Burstall Pass Day Use area and head up the French Creek, following the same route as for the French-Haig-Robertson Traverse.  Once in the alpine, you should be able to see the couloir lookers left of the French glacier. You can finish up the couloir with the traverse or head back down the French glacier.
